Back when I lived in Cape Town, I sang/played bass in a band with singer/guitarist Breton Potgieter and drummer Jimmy Adams. Despite our raging drug habits, we managed to play many shows around the city circuit and even put together this little EP. We were best friends. It was some of the greatest moments of my life.
As art tends to do, I feel this genre has dated slightly behind my tastes but it's still a unique set of songs, a strong testament as to why many people considered us to be a very refreshing act on the scene as well as to why we never had any chance of making it big. It's worthy of a listen for sure. Sadly the excellent original artwork by Nolan Van Heerden is missing and I only have those tiny bits of it somehow.
